How to reach Lumbini?

Lumbini is approx 260 KM far from Kathmandu. It takes around 8-9 hours to reach it by a surface. And if you want to fly from Kathmandu, there are daily flight which is 30 min by flight to Bhairawaha. It is the closest airport to Lumbini and drives for 30 min to reach the holy site.

If you are traveling from India, the popular city is Gorakhpur which will takes approx 4 hrs to reach Lumbini by a surface. Sunauli, the border point is 1 Hrs far from Lumbini.
